A rural and poor primary school and a preschool with 70 children grade 1 – 5 from very poor families and 4 teachers use the new facilities.
School is situated in away from the Nawalapitiya city area in Central Province. Families living in this village is very poor, and children’s parents working in tea states

Rural school with 330 children grade 1-11 from poor families and 20 teachers make use of the new facilities.
At the end of 2016 we visited this school in the mountains for the 1st time. Many children have to walk 2 hours to get to school. Along the main road is a small community water pipe, here the school is connected. In the dry season there will be no water for a 5 months and the toilets cannot be cleaned. Illnesses are lurking.

A rural and very poor school with 236 Children grade 1-11 from poor families and 15 teachers use the new facilities.
School is situated on far from the city area in Western Province. There is no water at all in the dry season, No drinking water and no water for cleaning toilets, even no water for whole village in dry season, they are struggling for water more than 6-7 months in a year. Majority of the parents do daily labor for their family income.

Plattelandsschool met 592 kinderen grade 1-5 uit arme families en 27 leerkrachten maken gebruik van de nieuwe voorzieningen.
De toeristen verlaten het vliegveld aan de voorkant. Op 600 m aan de achterkant van het vliegveld is deze primary school (592 kids in de leeftijd van 5 tot 10 jaar) gesitueerd. Afgelopen jaar hebben we vele telefoontjes ontvangen van het schoolhoofd met het verzoek om aub de water en sanitaire situatie ter plekke te komen beoordelen.
Afgelopen 28 november hebben we dit opgepikt. (elke projectaanvraag krijgt een kans).
Slechts 2 toiletten voor de 300 meisjes,

Residential community (57 families) with 201 poor people makes use of the new facilities.The community situated deep in the countryside all they are daily labors, these families used to get their water from the near village about 4 km away

Rural school with 500 children grade 1-13 from poor families and 25 teachers make use of the new facilities.
School if from very rural area called Walikanda from North central province. In dry season they have no water for school at all.  No toilet cleaning.
