A very rural school with 240 children grade 1-11 from poor families and 18 teachers use the new facilities.
School is situated on very rural dry area in Uva Province. There is no water at all in the dry season, No drinking water and also no water to keep the toilets clean.
Majority of the Parents do farming for their family income and some others do daily labor these villages are very poor.
Realized, improved water and sanitation facilities:
Prepare a place to keep the stock tank, 5000 L Storage tank, repair the existing water tank and the concrete water tower, electric water pump, one sink ( one unit has 4 taps), total new pipe line system.
Parents and children help: transport materials from the gate to construction sites, digging for the pipe line and the sink pits.
