School is situated on top of the mountain (height 920 m) in Landupitiya village, far from the Padiyapelella town area Nuwara Eliya District in Central Province. The villagers who are living here are very poor, and some parents of the children working as daily labors in vegetable farms and some others working as daily labours in tea states and rice fields. They have and old pipeline system, every day it is broken and the eldest school boys have to repair it during school time.
